Or A Reclining Buddha

I am on a Japanese Garden kick, and have therefore decided to turn our backyard into a Japanese Garden, so we bought a Buddha today for this alleged scheme.

Future plans are to: (1) keep it simple because I am not an attentive gardener, (2) get some specimen maple trees, (3) plant some small conifers (we have a paucity of pines at this moment), and (4) make two fish ponds in pots with water lilies and papyrus, because that seems more sustainable than an actual pond for a gardener as inattentive as I am.

But before all that, I need to put a watering system in (see Reason 1).  But there is no harm in putting the Buddha in first, to keep me focused on the project at hand.

He's a very conscientious Buddha, hence the seatbelt.

Hi!  I am Nye Joell Hardy.
I write science fiction and fantasy.  The  science fiction makes my head happy.  The fantasy makes my heart happy.  Oh, and
I have started making "Moth Books." Although I sell all these things, none are making me rich.  But I'm
    happy, damn it.

This site is to share with my friends my writing, the books I am reading, and other amusements.
